Syracuse Cooperative Democracy

Its time we started acting like we own the place!

We are member-owners of the Syracuse Real Food Cooperative who are concerned about the bylaws changes and other operational issues within the Coop. We are members and friends of the Syracuse Real Food Cooperative who seek to create a greater climate of participatory democracy within our cooperative. We oppose the new Bylaws as they continue an ongoing pattern of centralizing control away from the membership and into the Board.

Protest Idea - Park Your Car There!

I printed a few striped "Vote No" signs as well (striped signs give the impression that the image is moving, as your eyes naturally skip around on the image -- and they use half as much ink). They are with the "10 Reasons to Vote No" printouts in the kitchen. They would be very visible if people pasted them on their window AND parked and left their car close to the food coop.

And if a few more people do it.... It's a movement !
